We started our own firm because we wanted to do things differently.

With tremendous respect for the canon, and deep appreciation for the history of the Architecture profession, our design approach elevates the user. We believe that program should dictate aesthetics; that data should drive and, at times, generate design. When confronted with a design challenge, we know that architecture by itself does not always solve the problem, so we gather all relevant design intelligence to create optimal outcomes.

Over the years, we have designed superyachts, a variety of commercial spaces (such as high performing hedge funds, luxury fashion retail spaces, as well as non-profit local community projects), a wide range of custom residential projects (from backyard ADU’s up to $35 million homes). We partner with multinational companies to solve their most complicated operational problems, and we provide the expertise required for early-stage start-up companies to achieve growth plans. We are entirely devoted to the design process, regardless of size, phase, or scope.

We are Geoff and Adam and we founded braimansauer in 2019, nearly 15 years after meeting at the Georgia Institute of Technology’s School of Architecture and publishing our work in Textile Tectonics with Lars Spuybroek.
